Health and primary care.

Family Medicine for America’s Health (FMA Health) wrapped up its work four years ago, and what a wild four years it has been. FMA Health created a number of useful infographics and videos, many of which are still quite relevant to health, health care and the equity challenges we face in the U.S.

One of the issues I have been thinking about is that many people do not understand what it means to have a relationship with a primary care clinician, let alone what it means to have a relationship with a family doctor. What I like about this video is it explains, in plain language and for people of all ages and backgrounds, what it means to have a primary care clinician that knows you, your family and your community context.

As far as I am concerned, the more people who understand this the better. That is why you can watch, download, share and use this video, as you wish. We are in the process of creating a space on this website where more materials like this are curated and shared.
